Question No one out there?

Am I the only one on the site with multiples? Can't be possible!
Come say "Hi" if you've got them too.

I forgot there is a multiples forum here. I have 8 week old twin girls, 1 almost 5 yo girl, a boy that will be 3 in April, a 7 yo boy, and a 10 yo boy.

Do the seasoned parents of twins have any great advice?

OMG!!!! How on earth?? Sometimes my 2 make me crazy. But in a good way. I want more kids but the husband doesn't. He didn't want kids in the 1st place. I tell him it's his karma!
Will need to keep in touch w/you for tips!!! Congrats on the twins! Identical?
The only great advice I can give is have help. I had none and it almost sent me over the edge. There were other circumstances too but if DH can't be there for you get anyone you can. If you have questions mine are only 4 so I can still remember some things! LOL
Best wishes JoAnn

new twins here

Hi! I have boy girl tiwns as well. They are 5 weeks old. Anyone have advice on tandem nursing? My little girl pulls on and off so many times when we nurse and then gets really really mad when she does.

Also I think they may have an dairy allergy. When would they be behaving like if they do? Any thoughts?

Congrats, congrats!

Yes the pulling off can be a sign of dairy issues. There are some good tandem nursing pictures at Karen Kerkhoff Gromada

Click on photos. I would also highly recommend her book Mothering Multiples. She is a LLL Leader & Lact. Consult so has a ton of info in her book, plus lots of other multiple info.

She has an amazing e-group if you are interested. It is attachment parenting multiples and there are many breastfeeding moms as well. Lots of posts on breastfeeding & tandem nursing. The archives could provide lots of info.

apmultilples@yahoogroups.com

I have been with the group since I found I was pregnant with the twins and still am at the group.

Karen Kerkhoff Gromada is the moderator & if things get dicey will even do lots of private e-mailing as well. She is awesome!!

Several of the photos are me with my twins!!
