Fairy Garden
I have discovered a new holiday. Fairy Day is June 24th according to a website I found.

FAIRYDAY.COM
And, since I can never pass up an excuse to celebrate something, I used this as an excuse for Aidan and I to make a little fairy garden in the back of our regular garden.

omg that is cute...my MIL gave savannah and jackson a book that has pictures of fairy dwellings...it's so adorable.

Aidan now believes that he has been given a thank you gift by the fairies.
Since last night was Midsummers Night and we had watched the movie of A Midsummer Nights Dream, we took milk mixed with honey and a piece of bread out to the fairy garden as a gift for the fairies.
This did not bring us any luck right away, because soon after that Aidan had his first seizure in over a year. But this morning he woke up in a very perky mood and wanted to go with me out to the garden.
This is what we saw when we got there:


These are the first blooms on Aidan's moss rose, so he asked me if the flowers were a thank you gift from the fairies.
