I have been dying to share more pictures of my garden but I am like, one of the two people who are sharing pictures of them at all... so I would like to ask all of you garden shy people to share... please? Pretty please? I want to see... (and I want to share. lol...)

Those are BEAUTIFUL! I love them! I absolutly love your pathways and those flowers are breath taking! I have never had flowers before this year so I am not sure what that is like yet... because none of mine are blooming, but I LOVE yours!!
You have given me some great ideas! (And those chive flowers are great on potatoes... you just pull them apart and the little purple flowers have a hint of onion to them... we just did that two nights ago, and the kids loved that they were eating "flower potatoes"... lol)

One more time... I love your pathways... eventually I will have pathways like that... with the rock peices and the tiny ground cover growing inbetween... I love it!

PS I can't spell either... lol... just watch my posts.
Here are a few pictures of my gardens for about 1.5 maybe 2 weeks ago.
The front garden: native prairie flowers, mis. medicinals & bee/butterfly/bird attractors. I'm adding a bird bath to this garden sooner or later. I'm also re-doing the edging with this neat garden stone "words" edging kit my mom gave me. Just need a really big bag of vynal patch kit & a few dry days.
The kitchen garden: Laurel's flowers, herbs, raspberry stick or tea, wild violet & some random bulbs that I planted 6 years ago. They were only suppost to last 2 years and still haven't died.

PS I ended up going to your quial egg pictures... what did you do with those? They are so cute! I want some like that to decopauge (sp?) so Cyan can use them in her play kitchen... but I don't know how safe the glue is... but I keep thinking that would be a great idea.
I'll take pics with my reg cam today and show you pics next week. I really enjoyed seeing all of your gardens. Mine are mostly flower gardens with a small herb/tomato garden. At my FIL house I am growing sweet potatoes, squash, peppers, cucumbers, egg plant and zuc.
Love the idea to use the flowers from the onions....we'll do that tonight!
I can't wait till I have more in bloom. It is just going to be lovely. I might be brave and see if I can get some vegetable plants in. Colorado weather is funny, You can get a good frost/snow storm at the end of May.
Valerie where are your pics? I don't think I have see your garden.

Here is my garden this morning. It looks blue because I have a crappy camera... but it will give some idea. This one is the main produce bed... in front there are mesclin greens, mustard, cilantro and marigolds.... behind that are a row of carrots, and then peppers to the left. Behind that is broccoli, and in the very center is the red sunflowers. They will be SO perfect in the center of the garden... I can't wait! In this bed there is also cabbage (to the right) romaine lettuce, leaf lettuce, chervil, pinapple sage, onions, leeks, beets (for greens), italian parsley, two small califlower plants and a spot for my wamer summer crops that I have not planted yet.

This one is the herb bed... well sort of... I plant by companions, so everything goes with whatever it is happiest with... I don't really have an "herb bed" and a "veggie bed" they just all sort of blend with what they like to grow next too. Anyway, this one has borage, lovage (which is nearly covered by the borage leaves and I need to fix that), salad burnet, melon sage, green sage, daliahs, margerom, winter savory, swiss chard (bloting in the right top corner), cone flowers (echinacea), black cohosh, zinnia, bush peas, terragon, and stevia.

This is my only true herb bed... it only have perenial or self seeding herbs in it. In this bed there is rosemary (that is only a year old! Can you believe that!!!!!), oregano, thyme, lemon thyme, spicy orange thyme, chives, parsley, and johnny jump-ups. Then along the trellece in the back (to cover the garbage cans from the street) there is scarlet runner beans. I love them... they are so pretty!

This is the bean and pea teepee that Alex and I made... there is a better picture of the whole thing in the picture post I did a while back. But this really shows it working. Behind it is my rock garden, which is in the shade, so will not really fill in until it is warmer... we are having a very late, very cold spring here in the Pacific Northwest. I can't wait to see this all grown in... those pictures will be fun. It is big enough for me and the kids to be in!
In front of the teepee towards the street and the rest of the garden is spinich, edamame, egg plant, cilantro, and sorel.

This one is the red sunflower corner. In the center there is a teepee with a lemon cucumber growing on it. When that teepee is done it will look like a little christmas tree with yellow balls hanging from it! I am really excited about this too! In front of the teepee is a row of leeks. To the right of this picture is summer savory, globe basil, and lemon verbena (which is my favorite plant in the entire garden!!!!)
