little white larvae things! A million of them!!!

Okay, this is my very first garden. i am SO proud of it. My little plants are shooting up left and right. I need to thin them but I have a thinning fear it seems LOL. Anyway, We surrounded the garden with a nylon border and path made of wood chip. Underneath the woodchips is some barrier type thing made to prevent weeds from coming up. Dh moved aside some of the woodchips There were millions of white larvae. they were tiny and they have ants crawling all over them so I assume they are ants or something that ants love to eat (THis is the vomiting guy- to indicate YUCK, not crying like he is supposed to be but doesn't look it). Anyways, what should we do about these nasty things. They are everywhere. I don't want them to grow into tiny flying things that will eat my garden, nor do I want ants everywere. Any clue as what i should do with them?

Sounds like you discovered an ant colony. The white things are larvae. I found them in my garden a few days ago. I just left them alone. As long as they aren't fire ants and they are outside, not in your house, they shouldn't do any harm.
