Question Has anyone tried using this to kill weeds?

Weeds? Spot-spray with common full-strength household vinegar, on a sunny day. It's an organic weed killer that's safe for you and the environment.

I use straight vinegar.

We get these leafy weeds with prickles on them and when you step on them it's AGONY! And they are almost see-through so VERY difficult to remove. I pour vinegar straight on them. For other weeds, though, I'd probably use 1/3 vinegar to 2/3 water.

Thanks Stacy...I will try using the vinegar instead of fighting with the weeds

Beware, the vinegar turns everything it touches BROWN and kills it. SO don't get it on healthy grass.

I've used vinegar on my weeds and it works great. I agree with Stacy though - it will kill grass. Sometimes that's a good thing though. And uh Stacy, have you tried pouring straight vinegar down your ant hill? Just a thought. I do that around here. You'll just have to be careful because I'm not sure about your garden and the ant hill. Wouldn't want to kill off those seedlings!

ps. Logan got the dvd, haven't had a chance to watch it yet (Been SUPER BUSY), but thanks so much!!!

Oh oh science experiment! If you have limestone gravel the vinegar reacts and sizzles. Round up the kids for scince class in the driveway!
