Spring Fashion Questions.

What are you loving? What can you live without? Do you appreciate the resurgence of “preppy”? Do you like the “new preppy”?

I love the colors this spring they are so crisp and alive. And the preppy look is really my comfort zone. And some of these styles just scream “CUTE!”, what is better than a golf-skort…a beachy print golf-skort!

My only worry is that florescent colors will make a come back. I did not like them in the 80’s, and I am sure I won’t like them now. And if they come back, jelly sandals aren’t far behind.

My favorite pieces this year are the shrunken/fitted polo (in pink, yellow and aqua), the skort (one of my first fashion loves), colorful jewelry, beach bags and the tiny cable knit sweater, worn with perfection over the shoulders.

I hope to find the Sperry-topsider revisited in a luscious shade of pink, or aqua, I would be just as pleased with aqua. Until then I am content with all the cute strappy sandals on offer, and hope to find an aqua pair in my size soon.

I am loving the return of the Twenties, with the occasional Fifties piece...

I am not into the Preppy look, so I am not that thrilled with dodging them all in the store, LOL!

Oh, and jellies ARE back, just to let you know!

Yeah, I've actually seen some flourescents in the stores too... puke!

I don't like the "preppy" styles. I prefer the fifties and twenties looks like Murali. Sad to say, most of the time I'm still dressing like I did in college...sweats and a baggy t. I'm trying though...I've been doing pilates so I'm rewarding myself with tighter fitting tshirts and lower cut jeans.

For spring though...I'm dying to start making tube tops and matching ponchos. I love that look!
