another laundry question - nail polish

Well I got such good advice about getting the stink out of dh's work clothes (using Tide with Febreeze, baking soda and vinegar rinse and it finally works), that I thought I would see what you say about nail polish?

My niece spilled nail polish on her bed and pj's and we tried polish remover but it didn't work so do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks

oompletely un-crunchy suggestion... but I've found WD40 to get out stuff like that...but try just a small spot first as I've never tried it specifically on nail polish
