Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww MILDEW...... How to I get it off dd's blanket

I found a bag in the garage from when dd had the flu (several weeks ago) and inside it was her fav fleece blanket. I thought we had washed everything but I think ds threw the bag in the garage and like most kids put it in a not so logical spot.
It has mildew spots all over it. I have washed it 2 times now.
Once with tide and baking soda and this time with just baking soda.

How do I salvage this blanket????

what color is it?

If it's white or very light colored, I'd probably go buy some Tilex with Bleach and spray it, then wash in hot water with more bleach.

I hate bleach, but if it's a matter of a special blankie, I'd probably try it as a last resort before tossing it......

I think clorox has a bleach pen. you could just put it on the spots.

I think GSE may work on mildew also.

Does it smell still or are you just trying to get rid of the spots now? fabreeze laundry addative works well on the smell.
