Red face My hands are burning how do I make it stop? (Cut up peppers)

Both my hands are burning like they are on fire. Please tell me something to make them stop hurting.

I cut up 4 poblano chilies. The last time I did that, my hands never hurt like this.

I've washed them a hundred times and it hasn't helped. They really hurt.

Soak your hands in milk ~ your hands must be dry so it's irriating it. Then rub some olive oil. Not sure if that's right but that's what I do!

I tried soaking them in milk and they felt great while they were in it, but as soon as I dried them off, they started burning again. I also tried putting some olive oil on it afterwards.

DH came home and gave me some of his garage hand cleaner (fast orange) and it helped a tiny bit.

It hurt so bad. Felt like my hands were right near a fire.

I looked around on the web and someone suggested alcohol. I soaked my hands for a few minutes and it helped a ton. Then within an hour the burning was all gone. Thank goodness!
