housecleaning (i make my own cleaners), wipes solution, and we put a couple drops in our humidifier water. It keeps the water (and our room) smeling fresh.
I just bought some tea tree oil, not knowing exactly what to do with it. Is there something i can make to help freshen the air in our house (we've all been sick, pukey and diarrhea so the house just smells sick kwim) or even to clean something to kill the germs? What do i do to make anything like this??

I make a disinfectant out of 16 oz of distilled water, 3 Tbs of Dr Bronner's soap (liquid dish soap will work in a pinch, but I love Dr B's peppermint) and 20-30 drops of tea tree oil. Spray it on & let it sit for a couple minutes to work its magic, then wipe clean. It smells great, and no toxic ingredients to linger on your counters or walls!
Antibacterial--Helps kill bacteria to aid the healing process
Penetrating--Carries benefits far below the top skin layers
Soothing--Stops pain, stinging, and itching
Solvent--Dissolves residue and acts as a natural cleanser and disinfectant
Non-caustic--Does not irritate most skin types
(Those with extremely sensitive skin may want to dilute with almond or olive oil.)
Aromatic--Use in vaporizers to deliver a fresh, herbal scent
Tea Tree Oil is also disliked by ticks and fleas. I rinse my dogs down with it during flea season. It also is good for healing cuts and works amazingly well (and fast too) on burns. It also geta rid of athlete's foot and other fungals.
