I need a toilet swish recipe

ok, ok, so I'm a wanna-be flybaby.....one of my first goals is to add the bathroom cleaning to my daily tasks. I need a good toilet swish recipe....all natural cleaners if possible (baking soda, vinegar, etc).

TIA

How about just using a sprinkle of baking soda? I have a shaker that has BS with a couple of drops of tea tree oil or lavendar EO in it that I use in most places that need a BS sprinkle.

I want to get a couple extra shakers so I can have them in all the bathrooms and in the kitchen. I don't use it as much because I only have one living with the cleaning supplies.

Not a recipe, but about once a week I use a small squirt of Dr. Bronner's Peppermint to freshen up my potty. Other days I just swish.

I always think that there must be a better toilet out there....teflon or something.....

I swish every day, and store my toilet brush in a tall vase behind the toilet. It's in a solution of water and Dr. Bronner's soap. It's always ready to go!

If you have rings, go thee to the market and purchase a pumice stone (when my toilets were really bad I used one per room ) But with the daily swishing they never need the pumice again, they are super clean all the time!

And for .99 at Ikea, I have one for each bathroom.

hth!

The secret weapon is doing it every day

Just a quick swish, even without any cleaners, will keep the scum and hard water stains away. Not using a cleanser won't keep it disinfected, but it will make it look nice. I do mine everyday, and it looks so nice, I get compliments, LOL!

I just use ...

Borax on the potty daily. I keep a a little jar w/holes in the lid (WalMart - $1.99) and while I shower, let it sit and then use my potty puff (from Queen of Clean) -- let's you get the water outta the potty so you can really buff it up yet doesn't let water or ick touch your hands. I also keep a jug of white vinegar w/lavender essential oil which I dump in a fair amount at least once a week to keep it smelling pretty.

Thanks everyone....well, I've failed miserably as I haven't swished my toilet once this week.....hey, it's a long weekend, so I guess I'll do a heavy duty job and then hopefully I can get my act together and start on this dang routine.
