I personally am weird about old shoes. I only donate old shoes that i had bought and never wore much for whatever reason. I don't mind hand me down clothes but I do not like hand me down shoes. There is no telling what lurks in them. It ranks up there with not sharing underclothes. I think old shoes contains a lot of bacterias, fungi . OMG, this purge I found those 17!!!yrs old pull-on leather boots:

Ewww .....old stiff leather ......germs, bacterias, fungus. Yiiiiiiiiikes ....those old leather boots were not vintage - just old, gross stuff . Not donation items, think those 15 year old boots were unhygienic, disgusting household garbage which should be burned in the local garbage incinerator. Do you agree with me? "
