embarrassing laundry question

How do I get the deoderant smell out of my husband's tshirt laundry? Washing on hot made it worse. I washed with vinegar. I washed with baking soda. I washed with oxyclean. Nothing is making it any better. Sigh. I have to wash the tshirts separately because it would make the rest of the laundry smell. It's not bo. It deoderant residue that has gotten into the rest of the fabric. I've had him change deoderant and I'm sure some of it is preggo nose but I can't stand the tshirt laundry odor. ARGH!

Gotta treat the spot. Either put detergent watered down directly on it or use a spray and wash type thing in the pits. Let it sit. THEN wash on warm. If they are white, you can bleach them too.

Ammonia! I had some funky smelling towels and washcloths that bleach didn't touch. They werew super clean, no stains, etc, but they smelled funky when they got damp. I soaked them overnight in a cup of ammonia in the washer and washed them twice to get out the residue. That was about 2 months ago and no smell at all! They are clean and fresh smelling, still! I didn't believe it would work, but it did and I would definitely recommend this to anyone with stinky fabric problems. Good luck!
