What can i plant now?
We live in so ca so "winters" are very mild :-) Our squash is finally done producing, i think and i wanted a "winter" garden but i may be too late. I was thinking that i might be able to do lettuce b/c it would do well now that it's getting a little cooler but i don't know what else. I had originally thought maybe potatoes but realized it's probably too late for them. Any suggestions would be great. Also, what can i do to keep away the gophers? They got all our carrots and our lettuce. Dh suggested we dig deep down, he'll pour concrete in and we'll do concrete block around w/ something decorative on top. This way the gophers can't come from underneath (LOL)
