Best pluggin air freshener for kitty litter smell?

I have 4 cats that all use the same litter box (except one who prefers the corner of my living room ) and since I live in an apt, the best (and only) place for the box is in the guest bathroom. It always smells in there. I change the litter at least once every two days and completely switch it out once a week, but it always smells. I use Scoop Away for multiple cats.

Does anyone know which plug in covers the smell and makes the room smell nice. I used one with oil in it once, but it didn't work very well.

Thanks, I don't know why I ever got cats!!!

I don't have any suggestions for air freshners, but I have had many cats (we had 7 at one time) The thing I would suggest would be to get a second litter box. We used to use a couple of those deep rubbermaid containers with a LOT of scoopable (usually tidy cat multicat) litter. That did seem to help.

We are down to 2 now and I have one who likes to poop next to the box. Thank goodness he will pee in the box. He's 16 and I guess you can get some odd habits when you get older.

I hope you find something that works for you.

i would think you'd need another box for 4 cats, that just doesn't seem like enough space for 4 , yk?

we keep one box in our basement for 3 outdoor cats & 1 in the house for a kitten we have.

i can't imagine having all 4 in one box...eek! no wonder it smells...LOL

we did get a style that has a covered lid w/ a built in filter.. & dh wanted to try this new silica litter i contianer for 1 cat last a month!!!

goodluck!~
