eye ball last night I went to a class at hfs MUST try these salsa recipes I got there

yum! These salsas were so tasty! The instructor has been dubbed "The Salsa King" and I agree.
My favorite was the fruit and I didn't think I would like it at all. Get serving of yummy raw veggies plus it is just fun to dip. Vegans this one is for you too!
Tastes best with seasonal, organic produce.

Salsa DEL Demonio
1 medium white onion (3/4 cup)
1 medium yellow onion, diced
3 clobves garlic, chopped
t tbs cumin
1-4 TBS cayenne pepper (optional, use fresh hot peppers if available)
5 -6 tomatoes diced
2 TBSP fresh cilantro, chopped
2 TBSP parsley, chopped
1/4 c ume plum vinegar (very important not to substitute on this one)
1/3 cup white wine vinegar
1 can black olives chipped (optional)
1-2 bell peppers diced
mix and garnish with fresh parsley

SALSA DE LAS FRUTAS
1 large yellow onion (1 cup) diced
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 TBS cumin
2 TBS cayenne pepper (or fresh)
2 TBS chopped cliantro
4-5 ripe tomateos, diced
2 TBS chopped parsley
1-2 oranges, diced and seeded
1 pck strawberries clised
1 can or 1 cup fresh pineapple
1 medium mango (sort) diced *or* peach, plum, nectarine
1 tbsp chopped ginger (make sure to peel it)
mix and garnish with orange or lemon peel

NOT SO GRINGO GUACAMOLE
7 soft avacados (seeded and mushed)
1 large yellow or white onion, diced
3 cloves garlic chopped
1 tbs cumin
2 tbs cliantro chopped
1 lemon (juice only, no seeds!)
1 cup sour cream (used sour supreme and it is sooo good! makes it vegan too)
2 sweet yellow or red peppers chopped
cayenne or fresh hot peppers to tasted
salt (to taste if desired)
1 can black beans or cooked dried black beans (optional)
mix and garnish with cherry tomatoes


Enjoy! I think I could live on the fruit one. lol

And I can't believe your hfs has classes. I'm jealous, I think I will call mine and see why they don't do that. LOL

yes! and not just cooking stuff

they offer classes in yoga, auras and all types of stuff.
Members get a small discount.
Hope you love the salsa, it was so good. Would be great for a party.
