Aubrey's does not have sls.
I have some shampoo from Jason's that does not contain sls.

For toothpaste, we use Weleda or Logan (think that is the spelling, it is German.)

They are also cruelty free companies.

For wahm soaps, usually you should be safe.
UNLESS, they make melt and pour soap.
When I was making melt and pour soap, I could only find ONE soap base that did not contain sls.
It was more expensive, but worth it to me!

Sls can cause mouth ulcers (toothpaste)!

Also, cocamide dea needs to be avoided!!!

Hope

Mamas, if you do a search for non sls products, it will turn up quite a few results!

'I' think of my Aveda shampoo as crunchy (I use Shampure too, Denise- Yummm) but it is in that plastic bottle I find hard to recycle and I'm not sure what big conglomerate owns Aveda (if any). So maybe it is crunchy, but I wouldn't think it is to the hardcore crunchiest. I dunno. I haven't had good luck with WAHM shampoo bars so far.

So, who else makes a natural toothpaste without SLS and with floride!?

Blech, Estee Lauder. Oh well, It'll do 'til this bottle runs out (the humungo size!) and I find something else. I guess for the price I pay for this stuff I can pick out one of the more natural ones at Wild Oats. Thanks!

I have read sooo much evidence for both sides of the SLS debate...
but my "proof" that convinced me is that my scalp was getting sores and dry flakes frequently, and when I switched to using shampoo/conditioner that was SLS-free, the problems disappearred. (I began using Avalon Organics and I just love their products now!!...also switched to Jasons brand for toothpaste)

Some of Weledas shampoos and toothpastes do contain SLS. I was pretty disappointed when I discovered this, as I used them frequently before. Same with Tom's of Maine and Natures Gate.
I did a lot of searching and the ones I found that were SLS-free and 100% natural were Avalon Organics and Jasons.

I just thought I should let all you mammas know:

I sell a product called Natural Bodycare all products are SLS free!!!! and only use natural ingredients.

Its the only thing I have ever used on Prairie

Email me if you want to know more about it, I have all the ingredients of all the products here .

Check it out at www.nbusa.com you can enter #2255.

The product is guarenteed if you don't like it in 30 days they pay shipping and give you a full refund. If you don't like it within a year (there has to be half left) they don't pay shipping, but you can still get your money back.

Let me know what you think!!!

Aubrey Organics is awesome! We haven't used anything else in years. They have some cute baby stuff too....the smell is strong though. I like Burt's Bees better (for the mass produced stuff).

I still haven't sampled Danica's soaps yet, I hear they are heavenly!
