My 10yr old hasn't said much about xmas yet but here are some things that would probley be on her list.

American Girl accessories (she has 1 doll and that is all she wants),
hair styling stuff (loves to do hair)
make-up (would like one of those cases)
arts and crafts
knitting book and more supplies (she is a fast knitter)
*maybe* a kids sewing machine (her grandma said if she practices sewing by hand then she would teach her to sew on a machine)
snow feet or whatever they are called (I saw them in a magazine, they are huge plastic feet things that you can walk in the snow with and it makes bear looking tracks and such)

I have three of the Peace Fleece New Knitters Kits left... at a drastically reduced price - they are really cute - a little bag with a set of wooden knitting needles, a cat clay button, two small skeins of yarn and directions for some simple projects.
