My twin girls just turned 2. I got them some Mama-made baby dolls, play silks, vinyl animals and books. I had a hard time thinking of what to get them, actually -- being #s 4 and 5 in the family, we have pretty much everything already LOL.

OH my DS is going to be 2 next week, I can't stand it!!!!! Wahhhh
But I digress.... I got Dillon a set of wooden blocks from Brian's woodshop and some playsilks and I bought some trucks for his bday. I think the wooden blocks and playsilks would be great (since they are g/n).

Wow...I just checked out Brian's Woodshop and the blocks that they have are so cool and reasonably priced. I want the pine ones! Now I know what to get ds for his b-day in October
My dd is 20 mos and just starting to be interested in play food. She also really really likes little people (both the capitalized ones. and the lowercase ones )- I think I'm going to find some wooden ones for her...

He makes all sorts of really nice things by hand and his wife (an am) helps as well. They are really nice to work with very good at responding to emails and such and VERY reasonably priced and ship quick too. (no I don't work for them ) They have a banner ad on this site as well. Check them out
Callan will be getting a pair of cowboy boots, either pink or red! I'm not too sure what else, amybe a couple Calliou books or Calliou doll since she love Calliou so much lately.
The poor kid is so toy deprived that she has wood food and a wood doll house and 50 thousand dolls already. I don't even want to think about CHristmas.

Well I only have a ds, but he loves trains. Any wood trains, especially Thomas. He also likes Usborne books a lot, especially the First Hundred Words or Everyday Words. And he likes Elmo. Anything for doing art is awesome too. Washable markers and other school/art supplies are super duper cheap this time of year. ($1 instead of $4 so stock up!)
Have you checked out Dannielle's website? She has all kinds of cute things like waldorf dolls and unicorns. www.naturalplaythings.com
Haba toys are great too. I sell these. There are all kinds of little wood foods.
