Bunny Questions

We have a new family bunny and have a few questions. We bought a cage with a little "pee corner" in it. Bunny is supposed to pee in the pee corner so it will be easy to clean the corner every day then the rest of the cage once or twice per week. (Bunny lives in this medium cage part time, and lives in a big hutch part time...) Well, Bunny is sleeping in the pee corner and is peeing in another part of the cage. What should we do? Also, I would love for Bunny to be able to hang out in the house. I am not really pro-cage. Our intention was to have him live in the huge hutch at my work while I was working then bring him home to his cage where he could use it to eat, sleep, drink and poop!. I thought if it went pee in his corner, we could open the cage and let him come and go. Also, this little guy can poop! Is potty learning for bunnies just for pee? I can't even seem to figure out how to pee train him in his cage much less poop train him in the house!

Help!
Thank you!
Ari

I am not sure what a pee corner is but maybe he thinks it's where he wants to nest? Bunnies also do nest where they pee and pee where they nest, kwim? My bunny hangs out in his litter pan all the time. We use a small cat litter box and he also has a cat condo that he likes to hang out in. He poops and pees exclusively in the litter box and we never trained him how to do it. He went from living in a wire bottomed small cage at my ILs to a large dog crate with a litter box and trained himself. We let him out to run all the time. Maybe if you provide him with a box for nesting he'll pee in the pee corner?
