Homeade play dough recipes

Heres one
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
2 tsp cream of tartar
2 TBSP oil
1 Cup water

Cook over med heat til it forms a ball. Knead until not so sticky.

If you want colored dough add food coloring before cooking

cinnamon dough

Cinnamon Dough
2 cups flour
1 cup salt
3/4 to 1 cup water
5 tsp cinnamon

Mix dry ingredients into a bowl. Make a well in the center. Pour in water. Mix with hands until dough forms a ball. Knead lightly on floured board. Wrap inplastic and store in fridge 20 minutes.

Peanut Butter Dough

1 cup peanut butter
2-3 tbsp honey
1/2 - 3/4 cup dried milk

mix together and shape. The children can eat their creations.

Soapy Dough

2 cups flour
1/2 cup salt
2 TBSP liquid temera paint
1 tsp liquid soap
water

Mix all ingredients except water in a bowl. Add water to make it a workable dough.

Kool Aid Playdough

2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup salt
2 pkgs unsweetened Kool Aid
3 Tbsp oil
2 Cups boiling water

Put oil and water into dry ingredients and let sit for 1-2 minutes before stirring. Mix well.

oatmeal recipe

1 cup flour
2 cups oatmeal
1 cup water

Gradually add water to the flour and oatmeal into a bowl.

Knead until mixed.
This dough is sticky but unique in texture.
