Question Where's your fave online place to browse fun learning/alternative types of toys?

I'm interested in stuff that you wouldn't find at walmart... maybe more "old fashioned" types of things... Metal Tonka trucks (do they even make them anymore?), nice wooden things, etc...

Actually, dh just recently bought ds a metal Tonka truck -- a big one (the size I remember scooting around in, you know, one knee in the dumptruck part?) -- for ds at Target, for $9.99... We saw the same one at F.A.O. Schwarz later that week for $25.

I love browsing the catalogs for Hearthsong and Magic Cabin, but their customer service is terrible, and every time I order from them I swear I never will again. http://www.hearthsong.com http://www.magiccabindolls.com

(I've ordered from some of these and not from others...)

Here are several I shop at:

www.playstoretoys.com
Back to Basics Toys 1-800-356-5360 (don't think they have a website but well worth calling for a catalog)
www.magiccabin.com
www.ttgo.com (Toys to Grow On) (has a few good ones)
www.animaltown.com
www.youngexplorers.com
Lilly's Kids (my cover is torn so I don't have their website, I bet it is www.lillyskids.com
www.hearthsong.com
www.smallworldtoys.com
http://shop.store.yahoo.com/outofthe...eskidstuf.html
www.toymobile.com

I know I have more, but that's all the catalogs I can find right now.
