We like Cranium. My son did a really cute impression of a toaster when he was 8.

Sharing an embarrassing Cranium moment “ I can’t do this impression, I do not know who Heimlich Maneuver is” ( I pronounced it Heimlich Ma-na-voyeur).

And yes I do know and have known for quite some time what the Heimlich Maneuver is. Despite this, my team one the game, and everyone had a good laugh. Needless to say my friends still talk about Heimlich Maneuver.

Oh and HA HA HA…this is funny, I can’t sing a note, yet each time someone had to hum a tune they didn’t know I offered to take them to another room and hum it for them. Despite the fact EVERY time I did this I was of no help, people kept taking me up on the offer all night! No one ever figured out what I was humming…But I could tell what it was clear as a bell!

My kids love Cranium Conga. They are 7 & 8. There are quite a few Cranium games that can be played with young and adults and still be fun for all.

They also like Skip - Bo and Uno.

Stephanie

ETA: We play these as a family not just the kids.

My parents just bought and taught my girls how to play Rummikub. The girls loved it and got the hang of it fairly quickly, they are 7 & 9.

They also like Boggle, Disney Trivia and Adventures in Neopia.

I'm glad this thread was started. We currently have only a few board games and we get so tired of them.
We have:
Candy Land
Chutes and Ladders
Boggle Jr.
Monopoly
and a very old version of Scrabble

As you can tell the first 3 are more for Skylar so we only have 2 games for dh and I to play.
I'll keep watching this thread for some good ideas since I jsut saw a commercial for toys r us having a B1G1 free sale on all their games.

much love

We like Uno & SkipBo. Yahtzee & Life too.
We had Monopoly...someone decided it'd be great fun to put all of the little pieces down a vent when mommy wasn't looking though, lol.

ETA--a few yrs ago when we were using the laundromat we'd go as a family & play travel Scrabble while the clothes were washing
