but i have to say, i think it's important that this be a safe haven for the expression of opinion, whether it is popular opinion or not. respectful is always better, in my view, that an ugly opinion, but i just hope we won't evolve into a community that has to self-censor in order to be harmonious.

I was just trying to say that if one is very upset or po'd that maybe instead of posting we can let it slide. Or shift that energy into cleaning our homes or going on a brisk walk. Maybe I'm just an idealist
I have some opinions that would NOT be very popular around here, so I just stay out of those converstations.
I agree we should be able to post our opinions- absolutely -but I'm asking at what cost? ykwim? Sometimes I'm not so eloquent with words, so I don't post TONS-- I just don't want to come across in a way I didn't intend. yk?
