Census Links

Wow, let me say I nearly jumped out of my chair when I saw this forum! I've been doing genealogy for a ridiculously long amount of time {about 10 years} but am now just getting through a lot of brickwalls.

Anyway, I'm trying to locate a census for either 1880, 1890, or 1900, specifically for Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Every time I think I've found it, I get linked over to Ancestry.com and hate that I need to pay for something that is a matter of public record.

Does anyone know of sites offering records other than ancestry or genweb {which is hit or miss depending on location}? I'm really trying to avoid a trip down the the LDS here.
