Going to an adoption information meeting

on Monday. I am so excited and hoping to get dh to go with me. When I reminded him of the meeting, he just said, don't you think adoption is cost prohibited? (I think that was the word he used)

I am hoping we can get more info on the costs and more info and dh will become more open to it. I really need this opportunity. I have been really depressed since I met with the maternal/fetal specialist. Man, I thought infertility was hard, knowing that you can't carry without a high risk of dying, this has been harder.

How exciting, Kimber. I'll be praying that dh will be more open to the idea. God provides what we need!

I hope the meeting goes well. What agency or group is putting on the meeting? We know several families who have adopted and there always seems to be a way for them to afford it! Good luck

How did the meeting go?

We are thinking of adopting internationally. Dh has said "maybe" to the idea. Better than a NO!!! We are looking at two years down the road. I will finish nursing school next year and we will have a year to adjust, plan, decide.
