'I am Blessed With Work'
In the movie 'Return to Me'...there is a scene where the Gand daughter asks her Grandfather if she can help him tidy up the garden...moving chairs around. They own a restaurant and he was cleaning up at the end of a long day.
And his reply was "No,I am blessed with work" and he basically shoes her away to leave him to it.
I think about that often when I am feeling overwhelmed with CHORES. Laundry, meal prep, planning, cleaning etc. Focusing on my gratitude instead of feeling the yucky overwhelmed feelings. Of course, I can do EFT on the negative emotions...and really through EFT I have reduced those feeling DRAMATICALLY. However, I love the vision of him in the film...straightening chairs, tidying up and just being grateful for all he has.
*sigh*
