"Most of us are familiar with the term “projecting” and what it means from a psychological perspective. Projection is when one person sees or attributes meaning and characteristics to another person that really aren’t there. This can cause us all sorts of unnecessary heartache and drama that we really don’t need ….
So think of a situation or a person who drives you crazy … and try this tapping … tailor it to fit your situation.

Set-Up Phrase (karate chop or sore spot):
Even though I get so mad when Jim criticizes me, I love and accept myself even if I think Jim doesn’t.
Even though I got so mad when Martha doesn’t listen to me, I love and
accept myself even if I think Martha is selfishly controlling.
Even though I get so mad when Bob doesn’t answer me, I love and accept myself even if I think Bob’s a jerk.
Eyebrow: He criticizes me all the time
Side of the Eye: I hate the way he talks
Under the Eye: Why is he so negative
Nose: Why does he think he knows it all
Chin: Why does he point out all the mistakes I already see?
Collarbone: I’m just as critical
Under the arm: I’m very critical
Head: I don’t need anyone else being critical
Eyebrow: What if he means well?
Side of the Eye: What if he just needs support as well?
Under the Eye: What if he’s doing the best he can?
Nose: What if it’s nothing about me?
Chin: He’s just communicating.
Collarbone: What if it’s just him?
Under the arm: It’s not personal.
Head: It’s just Jim.
So if you find yourself being bothered by a person’s behavior, try saying “It’s just Jim”.
