I (David Rourke) had an opportunity to go to San Francisco to work with
Gary, Carol Look and Rick Wilkes in September. I have to say that it is one
of the most memorable experiences that I have ever had. I was able to
witness miracles in action.

Gary pick 16 highly compromised people (Traumatic Brain Injury, Essential
Tremor, PTSD, MS, etc.)and brought them together for 3 days where each
person would receive both EFT one-on-one sessions and Borrowing Benefits for
a period of 3 days. All were hooked up to an EEG, provided by Dr. Donna Bach
and Gary Groesbeck of Integral Awakened Mind , so that we could see how
brain waves were affected by EFT during a session. We also had Dr. Patti
Felici do pre/post live blood analysis using Dark Field Microscopy.

All that I can say is that 13 out of 16 people showed such incredible
results that their experience will be offered in the film which we would
expect will be available in the spring.

I learned something very valuable through this experience. TRY EFT ON
EVERYTHING! I have to admit that there were some emails I would get from
people describing their condition and wondering if EFT would work for them.
I was hesitant to respond to some of the requests because of my own limiting
beliefs. I have to say, my beliefs have changed! I will not hesitate to work
with anyone no matter what the issue.

Gary put it beautifully when he said that he is coming to believe that there
is only one diagnosis and that is "UNRESOLVED EMOTIONAL ISSUES." Do yourself
a favour; Don't quit 5 minutes before the miracle happens.

I have an on topic and off topic response I adore David Rourke..I am so glad to see his comments.

Ann Adams talked about this a little bit when I was in Sydney. She said when someone was hooked up to EEG as they did EFT and got the stress levels down, the brain waves smoothed out and flattened out into the more relaxed state. Additionally, when that pesron on the EEG was asked to 'tune into' their daughter...(think about their daughter) their brain waves changed completely.(presumably to those of his daughters waves) Ann was FLOORED>..especially by the tuning into the daughter one

I agree with David,
Try EFT on everything. I watched video of Dr. Enci Erkin (who is a medical doctor and biochemist) working with children who have cancer and who are taking chemotherpy etc. A few rounds of EFT(and more of course) and those children and their parents were smiling and happy.

I cannot believe the borrowing benefits I received form the three day showcase. I have goosebumps thinking about it. I had stresses about a few issues in my life just before leaving for the conference. I worked on them directly myself, but received such generalization from the borrowing benefits that were far greater than the tapping I was managing on the plane etc. The generalization effect amazes me. I get generalization from working with other people as well.

THere was also a woman at my conference who has scleraderma. As an emotional helper I worked with her twice as she needed extra support. She walked into that showcase lost depressed, stressed and panicky and convinced that EFT could not help her. Convinced nothing could halt the disease as her body was shutting down. She left smiling, happy, hopeful and positive after working with some masters and helpers. Happy and smiling, grateful and much more at peace. Believe me she was NOT smiling when she arrived.

There was another woman with metastasized breast cancer. She was angry and confused, argumentative and lost. She too had a peace about her by the end of the conference that was palpable.

I am becoming more and more convinced that EFT can do anything in the right hands and even with simple persistence. But, best of all it can bring peace to anyone's heart and soul. That is the best gift of all.

My experiences have motivated me to do workshops for people..making it affordable to tap in a group and borrow benefits and learn from others. It is just such a powerful thing.

It has been(and still is) an interesting journey. It is amazing how EFT is clearing the way in my mind to get clarity on so much.

Funny, I would have never pictured myself doing workshops...a group thing. I have never done group stuff before. I am a one on one type of person, But I can totally picture it in my mind now. I have not even tapped on any issues surrounding this. I know I can tap on them if they come up.

This whole things just fascinates me!

It is a fascinating journey. It's interesting that you never thought you'd be drawn to group work as I never thought I'd be drawn to one-on-one work! We flipped!

My prior professional life was group facilitation and training which I loved. And I thought with the EFT work I'd be drawn to groups but so far I am not. I get much more satisfaction in one-on-one work as I like to really go in deep and connect in this energetic way - I'm still amazed at the connection and am less sure of it in a large group. I don't know if that will evolve or is just a function of running public short workshops. I imagine if I ran them longer they would there would more of the ability to connect. Maybe that's the way for me .... longer more intimate events .... just thinking outloud here.

Looking forward to hearing how the workshops come together ... I'm doing a public one at the library on stress relief as a way to introduce folks to EFT. I've done a few so far and they have gone well - it's just that I am dealing with a population that's very mainstream so it's a huge leap for them and they are a bit tentative. Also location matters ... both for where the workshop is and for advertising ...

Wow Linda and Deborah. Thank you for sharing your stories and insights. I believe that this is how we will heal the world, starting with individuals and small groups. And the healing will flow to those we touch and those who are healed touch.

After I wrote my post, a current client of mine asked me to come to her state to do a group. She wants to share me with all of her friends and family ...

I think this might be the chance to do deep work in a group setting .. we'll see.

It's a stretch for me to consider ... but I'll get there.

I would do it~lol!

But I would make sure I had an audience that really wanted to be there. An audience that was not manipulated ito being there. However, I do not need people to believe that it dos work or will work. My prerequisite is that they are there of their own volition.

I understand that it would be a stretch. It would for me too. There are definitely 'issues' surrounding delivering this info to a mainstream audience.

Good points -

The other thing is that she's flying high after her results and she wants the same for others. I think once she has settled she won't be as gung-ho.
