You know what I "think" I am discovering?

Yes, it's a "DUH" moment

One round of sequence just does not do it for me. Nope. (Though what did I expect trying to tap out a serious issue with just one round).

Today though I felt rather bad physically at the end of the day. So I did <gasp> two rounds with longer than usual tapping and... I am usually "dead" by this time at night lately.

But see, I am here and typing away (after making dinner and packing lunches)

(And somewhere deep inside I still don't believe it and my mind is trying to come up with "other" reasons that could cause this energy)

Right there with ya! I have been having a very bad flare of my illness (fibromyalgia) lately and dh is living 4 hours away for work ( ) so exhausted has been my status quo. Friday dh was due to arrive on a 9:30pm train (he comes her every couple weeks as he is able to) and I was so tired I couldn't see straight, let alone consider driving safely. So I tapped...... and tapped again.... and tapped again.... and then I realized that there was this energy feeling rising up my spine and spreading to my arms and legs. I was mentally alert and physically energized! Not only did I manage to get him at the train station but also went for a pint at the pub on the way home. I am also right there in trying finding another reason for the energy, but deep down I know it was the EFT because if I could simply will myself to feel good I would have done it years ago. God knows I have tried! (and God knows I have beat myself up mentally for not being able to. )

I get that too! I found I need to let this energy *in* after I am done tapping and not just jump up and start doing whatever I am doing.

Anybody else find they get better results if they just remain in the semi-meditating state for a few minutes after?

yes! I think that may even be part of the difference between this time and the times I have tried in the past. That plus I tapped on more than one phrase. I started with general stuff about being exhausted and then went on to how the being exhausted feels such as heavy, bloated, numbness, pins and needles, etc.
