A practitioner I've worked with as a client (meaning I was her client) is working on a book. She is offering free EFT sessions in exchange for the use of stories and successes. I quoted below what she says. She's very good at EFT (although a slightly different style than I am) so if you fit the criteria and are interested, I highly recommend taking advantage of the offer. Please feel free to spread the word in other forums here.

I often have wished that I had EFT during my pregnancy and after. It is amazing how our issues come up during pregnancy and then once we are parents.

I am so glad she is writing a book, that is awesome.

I know -- I would have loved to have had EFT during labor! I'm actually working on my own book -- all about the parenting stuff that we talk about here and how our growing up stuff impacts us as parents ... Her doing her book will motivate me to keep working on mine -- My working title is "Loving our Children, Healing Ourselves".

I was just talking to a friend of mine who is a year of from finishing her midwifery schooling...and saying the same as you! 'I wish I had EFT during my labor...' I piqued her interest!

My second labor...Aidra(who was breech) go to plus 2 station...just a tiny bit away from pushing and my cervix never opened up. I did not dilate at all. Now that I know EFT, I am POSITIVE as I type this (based on my intuition) that if I had EFT my cervix would have opened.

Now that I have typed this out I need to go tap on this...lol!

In any case...I think your book (and Alina's) is important~so important! Now, you just need to take writing vacations...lol!

Wouldn't it be fantastic if all mid-wives knew this! What a great tool - I'm so glad your friend is interested ....

Would she accept someone with recurrent miscarriage and infertility?

Do I need to know how to use EFT? Is this overthe phone or IRL?

I think she would be very interested in someone with recurrent miscarriages and infertility .... It would be over the phone. I imagine you'd have to know the points but they are easy to learn but I don't know for sure. Feel free to email her and ask. Sorry I don't know more.
