Giving and Receiving

Hello friends,
I have been reading Bert Hellinger’s book, Insights, about Family Constellations. I’m just starting but in the beginning he talks about giving and receiving as being two essential parts of a relationship. If giving and receiving are out of balance, the relationship can’t grow and thrive. The only exception to this is with parents and children; in that relationship, parents give to their children and the children receive; that is the natural order of things. In looking at my own relationships, I find myself out of balance with giving and receiving; in some relationships I give too much, in others I take too much.
So here’s a tapping sequence on giving and receiving. Remember that sometimes we exaggerate the language in order to more easily clear out the energy of the underlying emotion.
Enjoy.
Set-Up Phrase:
Even though I don’t know how to give and receive gracefully, and I feel inadequate in my relationships, I love myself and appreciate my desire for healthy relationships.
Even though I have to give in order to be loved, or at least that’s what I think, I accept myself and honor my desire to feel loved.
Even though I take because no one will give to me, I love myself and appreciate my ability to take care of myself.
Enjoy.
