Life's a Journey: EFT Smooths the Way
Calming our Reactions

Hello friends,

I was on vacation this past week; we were camping and went for a drive on a rainy day. We were finding our way to a new place and I got really agitated for no good reason. After tapping on my reaction, I realized that I was holding in me the memories of having to navigate new places as a child. As a child, I couldn’t process my panic and stress so it was coming out now as an adult. Luckily for my husband (the target of my stress) and me, I was able sort it out and release the fear.

So try this the next time you feel agitated. Enjoy.

Set-Up Phrase:
Even though I’m overreacting, and I don’t know why, I love and accept myself.
Even though I’m feeling very agitated (anxious/mad/scared), and I know it’s out of proportion, I accept myself and my feelings.
Even though I’m so agitated and I can’t stand it, I accept myself and how I feel.

Eyebrow: I’m agitated.
Side of the Eye: I hate feeling this way.
Under the Eye: I don’t know why I’m so agitated.
Nose: This feeling of agitation.
Chin: I’m embarrassed by this feeling of agitation.
Collarbone: What if I can release it?
Under the arm: No I can’t.
Head: I need to feel agitated.
Eyebrow: Feeling agitated keeps me safe.
Side of the Eye: This feeling of agitation.
Under the Eye: My feelings protect me
Nose: My feelings are helpful
Chin: This feeling of agitation
Collarbone: I am open to releasing it
Under the arm: I am open to relaxing
Head: I am open.

Enjoy. Let me know how it works for you.

Deborah, I love your sequences that you post and email for specific problems. I have one question. What is the best way to use it? Should I go through it tapping and reading until I can memorize it and do it w/ out? I am not sure the best way to go about it as I always feel kind of distracted as I read ahead to tap the next phrase. Maybe as I get better at this it will be more smooth. I would appreciate input! BTW, you seem to hit on a lot of my issues w/ your suggestions. I am hoping to do a workshop this summer to get better at this.
Thanks

Hi,
So glad you enjoy them. I love how my own stories have a common theme that others can relate to.

One nice way to make it work for you is to record them.
I haven't figured out how to record them yet (just need to get a microphone and then I can) but you could do that for yourself -- you could read them to yourself and make a tape/recording, etc and then play it back for yourself as you tap.

I'll let you know when I have them in an audio format.
