I've been having lot of success. I had two phone calls to Deborah, one shorter one and one long one. I was having a cough that I associated with being stressed out when Aidra was needing me. I would cough like I could not get my breath when Aidra was whining and clinging to me.
So Deborah had me tap on being 'allergic' to Aidra and 'resenting' Aidra. And guess what it worked!!! I got rid of my cough and congestion.
The next morning at 4 am the cough came back when Aidra came into bed with us at 4am. It was so bad I had to get out of bed. So I tapped on getting my own need met...how I never got my own needs met as a child etc...then I got rid of the cough. I tapped on it one more time a couple days later when I was madly trying to get stuff done for OTHER people...and it has been gone ever since. (this week)
I also went flying with dh 2 days ago. I get air sick if there is turbulence or he makes 'deep' turns. I have no anxiety that I can tell regarding flying...I am not scared. However, I got really nauseated when we circled in the air while I was taking aerial shots of a farm. I tapped on the nausea /air sickness...I had to keep at it for 5 minutes. But it went form a 10 to ZERO. I had to do it again one more time during flight again for a deep turn...and it took three full rounds and it worked.
Leah and I have been tapping for her thumb sucking. She LOVES saying..."even though I suck my thumb, I am a really AMAZING kid"...or whatever variation we are doing. We have done 5 rounds I think...and she is sucking her thumb much less. She is happy to do it. That is really good, because we will be able to use it on other stuff as it comes up.
I have also tapped for Aidra when she has seemed really anxious and it really did seem to calm her down.
Best of all..
My brother sent me "Everything you do is wrong, you never do enough, you suck as a sister and a daughter" email the other day. This was spurred on by the fact that I am traveling to the States next month. I was ANGRY and so SAD. I was not surprised at all, this is not the first time, lol!
So, I tapped on the anger~it was a 10. I did 5 rounds and did it really quickly but complete rounds with the gamut points. I got my anger to a zero. I tested it by rereading the email and I felt no anger. Then I worked on the sadness. I got the sadness to a 1 then I had lunch to make etc It is a 3 this morning...but I will work on it more.
What a blessing this EFT is. I am so grateful for it.
I have been watching the DVD's and trying to soak it all in. It is very simple to do...you just need to keep persisting at it...
I hope this is helpful to someone and I will keep posting stuff as it comes up. Because I KNOW stuff will come up. Life is just that way.

It would absolutely work with worrying issues You can try it on ANYTHING. You can also use it on your 0wn reaction to stuff.
So for example if you get stressed out about your kids sucking their thumbs or whining, you can tap for your own stress (or whatever you call it..anxiety whatever) and then you won't 'react' to it anymore.
I just used it to get rid of a headache about 5 minutes ago.
I am definately going to be trying it for the issues I have shared at that other place. Great to be reminded how well it can work for children. I really need to explore it with Anja. (...and Kiah....and Dylan.... )
I am sooo pressed for time last week and this week as I am finishing up some major deadlines, writing papers, case studies, etc. in my final work for BFW certification. It has been he11 on us all because my stress is through the roof and my family is suffering from it. My first thought is "I can't take time to even re-read my EFT materials because I have so much to do." which is silly because I am here on the board, so clearly I have time. Maybe I should tap for making real quality time for myself, not just mindless time wasting. hmmm.... I will have to think about that one.

I have been using herbs to fight off PPD, but they don't seem to be doing enough any more. My kids are miserable, I can't cope, etc.
I saw your post after I left that message. I then PM-ed Deborah. I talked to her and tapped with her a bit ago, and, I am amazed at how much different I feel after talking for just a short time. I am amazed that it could be so simple. I believe that I can do this without help from anti-depressants now. What an incredible, amazing blessing!

I just found this forum. I am so excited to read about success storied. I downloaded the free info about 6 months ago and worked at it for a good 2 months. I didn't have any success so I gave up and forgot about it. I have long term moderate to severe anxiety and mild depression. I am working on thyroid and adrenal issues w/ a doc but not getting anywhere yet. I need to get back to this. I am thinking I should talk to Deborah as I think I am missing something.
