Checking in.

I am wondering how everyone is doing It has been so quiet around here. If you want to post in the private forum...pls feel free

Things have been a little crazy for me. But good.
I am very blessed in my life.

I had an interesting issue come up in tapping yesterday...I was feeling majoroverwhelm and really reacting to another friend who terminated a pregnancy. (we did not tap together, but she told me are her stuff and her shame runs so deep..it was really heavy since I could not tap!!!)
Interestingly when I was tapping yesterday on all my overwhelm...wanting to hide in the house with the curtains drawn..and being physically sick (GI issues...) and old story came up for me that *I* had serious shame issues over. And I cleared it and the GI issues are gone today It really feels like my friends shame was triggering my shame about something that happened more than 10 years ago.
Amazing how that works.
The people in our lives are often mirroring issues for us...they shine lights on the parts of ourselves that we often have not healed.

Have more tapping to do today!

(Hugs)
Linda

Glad you are better! I think I need to work on some shame issues myself. I also had a rough day yesterday.

I had invited some friends from school over. My youngest ds decided that he hated on of my friend's son ON SIGHT. And verbalized this in a terrible way. All day. Later, my other ds pinched his finger in an old, rusty swing -- while my friends were still there and the hate issue was going on. My pediatrician friend helped me bandage the wound and tetanus came up. I spent the rest of the day with horrible anxiety about tetanus -- though there is no basis and ds did have that vax before we stopped vaccinating. But my own issues were surprisingly overwhelming and I need to do some serious work with them.

Then, as my other friend was leaving, her dd was stung by a bee.

Everyone is o.k. The finger is healing (after younger son accidnetly pulled of the bandage today -- oy!). But I am still trying to figure out what happened with me.
