What do I do about positive feedback that isn't?

We sold a book through half.com and shipped well within the required time frame at book rate, which is what the buyer paid for. The feedback he left was labeled positive but stated "very slow shipping" which isn't true and isn't positive, lol. Do I have any recourse? Or should I just let it go? Can I respond to it? How? I'm not an avid Ebayer so I am not familiar with the ins and outs of everything. Thanks in advance for your help!

If you get feedback often enough that it will quickly move down the page I would let it go. If you do a follow-up reply to the feedback that you shipped quickly and that the usps was slow or something it will only bring more attention to the comment. Most people skim over the positives and are just checking to see what the negatives and neutrals say.

I would do a follow up reply to make sure that your other ebayer buyers no what the deal was so that they dont think different!

I Had the same problem and I replied to it - if you go to the feedback section it has the option to resopnd or follow up - not sure of the difference. i responded. On mine it was an auction for coupons and it ended like 2 weeks ago - the coupons were good til 6/30/06 and they guy just didn't pay me for almost a week, so I had to send him a reminder email and then he finally pays and then when they came in the mail he complained cause they expired 3 days later. he actually lied and said they expired the day he received or day after he received them - as he posted feedback on 6/27 - this made no sense. The auction said the exp date, so my response just said the facts - short and to the point - "Auction clearly stated exp date of 6/30 and you posted this 6/27"

That showed that the buyer was being stupid and lying and that I was honest and upfront.

I think the other person has to also leave an actual feedback before you get it.
