WWYD about this?

I am still somewhat green when it comes to ebay, even though I've been around for awhile, I don't have much feedback. Anyhow, I won a used Hanna snowsuit and received it today, the outer part is in 'terrific' condition as stated, but inside there is a tear in the lining and the material is unraveling around it. Of course, after looking at the auction again, I see there is no "no rips or tears" statement. So they didn't misrepresent it, just didn't disclose everything (or possibly missed it although if they looked inside at all they'd have been able to see it easily). It IS minor, but it still bothers me. How would you approach this?

I would email them and let them know just what you said about the condition. Leave it open ended and ask them what they feel would be a fair solution to the situation. Does the seller have lots of positive feedback?

TONS of feedback, 2000+ with a 99.4% rating. But almost all negs and neutrals are because of misrepresented condition of items. I mean, I'm still happy with the purchase, it was a great price and useability is unaffected. ugh. I wish I had more feedback. I wouldn't feel like such a chicken.

I know I know but just email and tell them factually about the tear. It is possible the seller just didn't see it, honest mistake.
A seller with such a good rep. like that will make it right. It doesn't matter if you have 10 or 1000 positives you deserve to get your money's worth & have others abide by the rules.
