A couple of my friends had their used cloth diaper auctions pulled from ebay. When they asked why they were told that ebay was no longer going to allow "used" diapers to be sold there, only new ones. They said it was a "used undergarment" and they were starting to close down lots of auctions if so this is horrible news to me!!!
Anyone else heard of this??

yep it's true. I had one of mine pulled for that reason. Sucks!

Wow, that is just kind of odd to me...It isn't like they are used disposible diapers, now that would be gross! As long as they are clean, who cares if they are used??

They allow used breast pumps on ebay, which are far harder to clean/steralize than cloth diapers. If they're going to take that stance on it, then they need to pull a lot of items, not just cloth diapers. Hopefully it will be just temporary! If ebay sees all these auctions going to kittybids.com or mompackauctions.com, etc. then maybe they'll change their tune!!
But I agree with you guys, that sucks!!

Just cause I'm nosey.... I did a search on "used underwear" and came up with only one match (a sticker) when tons of fetish type listings would come up.
The only reason I know that, is because some people I know didn't believe you could get used underwear off ebay. I also showed them auctions for virginity, souls, and positive feedback.

And yet there are still 1500 cloth diaper auctions currently on ebay. Just on the first page alone there were many used dipes listed. I wonder how ebay has decided which ones to pull & which ones they will allow. It all sounds rather odd to me.

IMO, it is a foolish business decision, they will lose tons of money! Don't they realize how much money they make within our cding subculture? Must be CYA with insurance or something!
edited to add: Back in the day when dc1 was a baby, there were hardly any dipes on ebay because of the fees. They were all at www.mothersnature.com Anyone else remember that?

I did the search last night, too. If something's going to be applied, it should be across the board and not pick and choose.
