It takes a while for ebay to go through all the auctions. Maybe they are? Someone said there was 1500 cloth diaper auctions last night, when I searched this morning I came up with 516.
I also did the ebay live help thing and the guy told me he had not heard anything about that, but did direct me to the rules department so I sent an email, but it said it would take up to 24-48 hours to get a reply.
My guess would be because of the fact they are used and have held bodily fluid at one point. This could be a liability for them, thus the reason the are pulling the auctions.

When I searched this morning there were 1482 diaper auctions. You'll have to let us know what you hear.
I got 500 some yesterday afternoon, so maybe depends on search terms???

If that's the case, they should pull all kids clothes. I'm pretty sure that my oldest ds has wet through every pair of clothes he's owned while potty training. Actually, we still get wet shorts/pants even though he's going on 6. What else? Bedsheets...definitely used bedsheets should be banned. And what about sweat? Does sweat count as a bodily fluid? I'm being silly now, I know, but the whole idea is just so frustrating...
as far as used undergarments go, ppl used to sell their sweaty panties and boxers. they were sealing them in ziploc bags and sending them that way. they had to stop doing that, so maybe those ppl complained about diapers not sure, but i am repulsed by the stinky undies thing. bleck, there are some sickos out there.

Yep, I remember! There was a real diaper craze then and bidding was crazy!
Originally posted by radish a while ago i stumbled upon used undies too and in the acution the seller stated it was "washed in compliance with ebay regulations".
WTH??
I'd love to see the smaller sites get more action too.
Technically, you are supposed to list this clause in any used clothing/fabric item that you list. About a year ago, ebay was going through and shutting down all auctions that did not list this in their auctions. Talk about silly...
But you can blame all the freaks out there.. lol selling their used nasty undies for these wonderful rules.
It would be nice to see some of the smaller diaper auction sites get more traffic though!
Still no reply from ebay.. which isn't a suprise lol.. maybe tomorrow. Has anyone else sent an email?
They will lose money. But I guess they probably don't care.
I guess I don't see the big deal--if someone wants to sell their sweaty undies and someone wants to actually pay money for it (YUCK!) who cares? I don't think ebay should have any liability in that, should they? Anyhoo...what a PITA.
