Do you print labels online?
I am wondering if you can do this and print out DC labels? It seems I spend sooo much time going back and forth to the PO and it would be much easier if I could do it online and then just throw them in the mailbox for the mailman?
Is it cheaper to do it this way ?
I tried to download that thing to get the dc for cheaper but I can't figure out how to install it on my comp.
I use stamps.com, it's a pay service - but I love it.
I also use the USPS site for Priority mail, trying contacting their support people with your problems- They a re very helpful.

stamps.com has a thing right now where you sign up & get a 5lb scale, so much postage & a mths service free. Then after that, you pay $15.99(in order to keep the scale, you have to be billed one mth or you either send the scale back or pay $50). I just got my stuff in Thursday & Friday.
IF you want to sign up with them, PLMK as if I refer you, I can get more postage free LOL. I think I have to go to the site & send you an email from a page there.
AND with stamps.com, they give you the option to use the free Priority Shipping label so you don't have to go to a million different places to address & postage your package.
For the 13cents d/c shipping label, just go to the page(listed as a sticky here) and follow the instructions. IF you do everything it says, there will be a lil icon that appears on your computer. It will be an envelope & say USPS Shipping Assistant. Then you just click on it and go from there.

Lilmama98 Do you pay a monthly fee? I don't really need a scale will that save me $? If there is a monthly fee do you feel that it is worth it or will I be better off going to the PO to save on it?
How can I sign up with you as a referral? Thanks

I've just started with stamps.com so I've not been billed yet. When my 30days are up, then I'll let them bill me once so I can keep the scale. IMO, a scale has saved me a lot of money & a lot of hassle. I use to over price postage and the buyer would get ticked at me or I'd under charge & I'd lose out when I really can't afford to. Everything I sell is used for getting clothing for Amber, anything extra she does at school, and then a lot of times, extra food or pay on bills if we are running short. Someone mentioned in another thread that they use the lesser fee of I think $4.99 with stamps.com but I don't think you get anything with it, I'm not sure, would have to do some searching.
By going with Stamps.com, I can print all the postage I need and not have to worry about if/when I can get to the post office. Especially in the winter time, our road is hilly/curvy so if it snows, I can't get to the post office, but I sure can walk to my mailbox & stuff the packages in my box for the carrier to pick up. IF you don't have these problems, then NO, it won't be worth it to you. It saves me money on gas also if I'm not going towards the post office.
I'd need your email address to refer you. I do it from the site.

That is an option I saw. You get $10 free postage but the $4.99 is a flat rate and then it's 10% of each postage. Which for me isn't a good deal becasue I mail about $100 a month so It would be the same.
I think I will sign up for the 1 month trial and see how it goes. My email is Love2nicks@comcast.net

Lilma98 How did you send me a referral? I am trying to send some to my friends and I can't figure out for the life of me how to do it. Thanks BTW I LOVE This thing!!
The small plan at stamps.com is 10% of all postage . They don't charge you 10% & 4.99 , they charge you 10 % of totalpostage.
there min.charge for this 4.99 .
so if you only buy 4.05 of postage one month - they charge 4.99 .
I'm gonn a look for a better explanation.

I plan of doing the 15 a month for the first billing cycle then drop down to the cheaper one that way I get a scale.. Also wth the 15 a month you can hide how much postage you paid
