just let me let go

thats all I gotta say ... I have no motivation to relist a lot of stuff thats been listed previously on the boards fsot. The inlaws never did come up here and the stuff that was going to go back with them for the yardsale ( not sure if thats happening or not havent heard a thing since ) all that stuff is still sitting here.

I have decluttered some more from most rooms, and imo have some great things that I could hopefully sell/trade .....

I think what I need to do is just let go of the things that have previously been posted, put out in a yardsale and havent sold, and then move onto a new batch of items and try to sell for a few weeks and then let it go too.....

sigh... just let it go Jody, just let it go lol

Im having a hard time just dropping most of the items off because of what I may have spent on them, ect but I know they arent doing me any good sitting in a corner boxed or bagged up.

ahhhh

I've got homeschool books that would sell but it's hard to find the motivation to list them at eBay.

Here's hoping we get out of our funk and get on the ball!

Forget selling them - the energy drain of a yardsale just isn't worth it. Neither is listing here if you haven't done it already. Worst would be the energy drain of knowing they are down there boxed up and that you have to do something about them! Put them in opaque bags or boxes, put them in the car, drive to the nearest Goodwill or what-have-you, and drop them off. Drive away without looking back!

I agree.. just forget selling stuff and get it out of the house. I had an entire set of dishes sans large plates that I just gave to Goodwill. I hope everyone loves them because I sure did, but I just couldn't imagine doing a garage sale right now. Wooden puzzles, a whole bag of 'Dragons' by Mega Blocks (Hey Lauren, Jake may like these a lot. FFS), blankets, and more are sitting in my car waiting to go. I have already taken a car load and will have another one by the time the week is out... and this is out of a very decluttered home! lol! If I don't just let it go, my kids pick it all out and bring it back in. So I get it out ASAP and then it stays out! lol...

I DO have one big thing that I am holding on to becuase it is a "just wood" amoire (big time local dealer here who works in solid wood) that I hand sanded and stained three years ago, and I just can't let it go for less than $200. It KILLS me that I paid $350 for it new and then had to FINISH IT MYSELF and people think it isn't worth $200. But such is life... until I let that item go, I will have very little room in the storage part of our garage and that is it. *sigh* I need to let the thing go, but I keep holding on.
