The kids' clothes now fit...

into one medium-sized dresser! Including anything we used to hang.

They have three small drawers each, and three shallow "tie" drawers each for undies, socks, and bathing suits. There is an area under the shallow drawers where Katie's dresses are loosely folded.

I have a huge mound of clothes on the futon that is currently under J's loft bed...it will be quickly sorted into rags, giveaway (stashed for the local fall clothing swap as most of it is fall/winter stuff) and put away for winter for the kids.

I also reorganized my clothes today and they now fit almost entirely into three dresser drawers. I have a few dresses and sweaters that will hang on a rod in the basement.

We do have off-season clothes stored in tubs in the basement.

The best news is that Katie really doesn't need much for camp! Once we got it all organized, we could see exactly what she had. I love the size of the drawers of their dresser - quite small, sized well for children's clothes. The only thing I don't like about it is it takes up too much space and I am not sure what I am going to do about that. Their room is pretty squishy and this dresser makes it feel even squishier.

Wow, I'm so impressed. Clothes have always been an area I worry about.

Great job, Lauren.
