living w/crafting chaos...EDITED W/AFTER PICS!

i posted at a few other boards (crafting sites) some pics of what i affectionately refer to as "crafthe!!" in my house...it's taken over and i'm slowly trying to regain control. i want to be organized, but with little space and lots of stuff (that no i'm not willing to part with) it gets out of hand. i've gotten it all in one area at least now and i'm finally starting to see progress. i'll post pics of after shortly! i'm almost done!

Here's the before pics:

This is where I want to "gut" to put my sewing table - think I can do it? lol

Then this is where I'm working now - in the dining room - I want to reclaim my house from the sewing pit tho...and Ian won't stay out of it now so hopefully, behind closed doors will be better.

Bow short-term housing lol - nice way to decorate tho eh? lol

This is fabric I'm either parting with or the bottom bucket is bows, bows, and more bows...Nevermind dh's towel in the floor - heaven forbid he walk the extra two feet to the hamper @@ lol

Here's more fabric - this is stuff I am working with or want to work with soon lol...

And this is my dresser - it's supposed to be pattern storage and fabric piles right?

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Here's the after pics:

My table, clean above and underneath...I've hung my size chart and scissor/diaper pattern holder above it...Below are baskets of UFO and WIP's and the c-mas boxes hold pattern tracings and embroidery blanks...there's also thread boxes w/ my embroidery thread stacked under there. Behind the machines are baskets holding each machines accessories etc.

white rolling cart holds patterns, elastic, foe, snaps, and some thread - there's notions in a drawer system and bins of dyes and stuff above this too (not seen)
the black rolling drawer cart is my ribbon (most of it lol) and it can easily be moved to access my fabric in the tall cabinet - above the cabinet is shipping supplies in the bins and tools i don't want ian getting lol...

more fabric - two more stacking bins overflowing...and some hanging wip's...i also have about 5-6 bins of fabric left elsewhere in the house, but at least it's all contained now!

So...do i get an atta girl for conquering my mess? :happydance

"So let them be little
'Cause they're only that way for a while
Give 'em hope, give them praise
Give them love every day
Let 'em cry, let 'em giggle
Let 'em sleep in the middle
Oh but let them be little" - Billy Dean
