Well, if all goes as planned, I'd like to knock out some more organizing/decluttering.
At 10am, I have to take a medication examination at the hosp for my employment.
Josh has been sick all day today, but started perking up this afternoon. If we make it through the night w/out vomiting, I'll send him to school. If not, dh will come home for my test. If Josh is home, I'll spend my day caring for him. If he's well enough for school I plan to clean like a mad woman.
I need to make a vet appt for my kitty. She has ear mites again.
I need to hire a gardener as we have a backyard from he!!. I'm so sick of mowing it. It takes hours to do. I'd much rather hire someone and spend quality, family time with dh and boys.
Laundry, dishes, dinner, homework....that's a constant.

Well, the bathroom wallboard isn't up yet, so my plan to tile the tub surround is off. Bummer. Dh and I are going to have to do it together, and the earliest that will be is Wednesday afternoon/evening.
My revised plan (more than decluttering, definitely some DIY in here!) is:
*go to new house in a few and put a third coat of oil on the loft floors, staircase, and "additional living room space"
*sand/clean/prep entryway and kitchen floors and put a first coat of oil on them
That will probably take until roughly 11 am if I get over there soon (it's almost 7:30 now).
I will then come home and eat lunch and do one or both of the following:
*organize paperwork and piles of paper that are everywhere
*declutter kids' room
I also am backed up on dishes and have to buy or make snacks for Katie for her first softball game today. I will either buy cheese and fruit, or bake muffins. I am voting for baking muffins so I won't have to go out shopping.
I am very excited and proud as I made serious progress yesterday. I had kind of given up maintaining the living areas in anticipation of our move and it had gotten cluttered and gross and then I was so busy at the new house I never had a chance to catch back up. Well yesterday I really deeply decluttered the hallway, living room and kitchen and I feel *so* much better. I love when I get that snowball effect - now I don't feel dragged down looking at those areas and it makes everything else easier to deal with! I am also fairly caught up on laundry, which took washing/drying/folding no fewer than six loads yesterday in between the cleaning/decluttering.
ETA: My kids are in school all day during the week, that is why my list is so long!

I need to do the last bathroom today (we have 2 1/2..the other two got done over the weekend), mop that floor too, and then I need to get to work on the kids' room. I have a lot that has to go, and a lot that needs to be organized and decluttered. It is going to take a while to do as I can't leave the littles alone for very long. The rest of the house is looking amazing, but there are small cluttery spots here and there I'd like to deal with as the week progresses

Elijah allows me to dress him nicely and take a picture!
Today I need to get dishes all done and floor mopped first, then try to re-arrange the oak cabinet (art supplies, vitamins, misc. kitchen stuff that needs to find a more perm. home).
When I get that done, I need to finish up the bathroom.
And lastly, I will get all DH's jeans done.
Doesn't sound like much, but I will be lucky to get it all done!

My declutter/deep cleaning focus this week is the kitchen. The pantry really needs the declutter, and I hope to clear out a few other unused things from the cupboards. So today I will work in there.
I also want to declutter the living room shelves, rearrange things, and dust everything, as well as scrub the coffee table and give it a good polish.
Tonight I will sweep and mop in the kitchen/laundry room/breakfast nook while the boys are at BMX. It is the best time to do it if I don't want to wait until after they go to sleep.
This week the focus is the kitchen, but also on maintaining routines. We're having company this weekend, hence the need for a little living room work.

Phew. I've gotten so much done!!! I'm decluttering/deep cleaning the kitchen. I've pulled everything out of the cabinets and cleaned. I've thrown away expired meds, foods, etc. Rearranged some stuff for easier access. I've scrubbed the cupboards and counters. Now it's time to put stuff away.
