got rid of a bunch of stuff today

i sold stuff at the outdoor flea market today and made $60 (plus the $6 i had to pay for the table). yipee! i just offered the leftovers on freecycle, so hopefully it will all get picked up this week.

i have decluttered so much and peeled off so many layers of stuff, that i actually didn't have enough stuff to fill up a table today...for the first time. although i wanted to find more stuff in order to make more money, it was so encouraging to see that, in some areas, there just wasn't anything to declutter.

Whoot. Good for you.

There's a 100 mile garage sale ending tomorrow and a month ago I REALLY wanted to go. But now that I've been decluttering, I don't want to add any more junk. LOL. funny how perspective can change so quickly, isn't it?

Yay!That is awesome. I have not had the energy to garage sales or the like, so it has all gone to the Thrift stores. I still feel great about it. It is an awesome feeling to live without all the clutter.

What a cool idea! Good for you!! It feels so good.

I have a confession.

I acutally got more stuff this week. I worked at the my ds' school rummage sale. (Of course I did also clear out a whole bunch of stuff to donate to the rummage sale. So stuff-wise, I think I am even. lol)

I did get some cool things. Lots of wonderful books (my weakness). A bunch of Mini Boden and egads, Oilily items for my youngest dd. I have one outfit inparticular I think I can get quite a bit for on Ebay. It's just so cute, I think I want her to wear it. It's not something I wouldbuy new. lol Hell, no.

I also got a pretty wicker chair for my porch. It's looks nice out there. But I didn't 'need' it.

What else? Shorts for the boys and oldest dd for .50 each, and a pair of Primigi shoes that I am going to sell on Ebay. Some .50 T-shirts my youngest son did need, plus they are in great condition. A couple of nice puzzles, a wooden Noah's Ark, with wooden animals for my nephew. All good stuff, but more stuff.

I have a love/hate relationship with the school rummage sale. It's a lot of fun to work there. Lots of laughing, feels nice to be in the community, and it's for a good cause. But I always end up buying stuff.
