Wahoo...cleaned the garage today!

Yea!! We cleaned the garage today. And although it wasn't too terrible...there was a lot we got rid of.

Dh has been inheriting old tools from his father but he doesn't use them. He goes and buys a new nicer tool and the old one just sits in the garage.

He also has an office in our garage...that was terribly disorganized.

Going to freecycle some of it or donate to a friends garage sale coming up to fund their adoption.

That's great!

I was standing in our garage tonight--freezing, I might add-- and thinking: when I can stand in this space without crying from sub zero temps, this is all going! I saw many things in need of a new home-- but I ran out without a full count of the lot because my extremities were turning blue.

But come May, I'm there!

Thats awesome. As soon as I get my garden planted, on the next not windy and chilly day, I'm definitely working on the garage. Its pretty pitiful

i think the winter does that to the garage. it's cold ...so it's a 'throw it there and deal with it later' mentality.

Our garage is a disgrace. It's dh's "area". He feels that if you can wade through it without loosing a limb, it's organized.

I'm in the "as soon as the weather gets warmer" croud. Dh and I are going to have a "discussion" about how things need to be organized.

eta: the sarcasm is tongue-in-cheek. Dh is pretty receptive.
