More stuff gone!

I took a bunch of stuff to consignment & goodwill today, and I am so proud! lol I got rid of kitchen chair cushions (really nice, but I never used them. I can't see cushions and kids together), sheets, sweaters, a high chair, a moses basket, a car seat, some toys, and a few books. Some of these things are big, so ahhhh, great to get them out of the house.

I hear you! I will prob only get about $10 for the Moses basket. It's really lovely, and in wonderful condition. I prob could have gotten at least $25 on Craig's List, but I did not feel like dealing with doing the listing and people not showing up. Same w/the high chair and carseat. I have held on to them, but I finally put them in the car and now they are gone. That's worth something.

My only problem is that I really do need the high chair. However, I could not stand it's size! My sister's babe is always here and I know I need to figure something out. The wooden trip trap I have is too low for most things, plus there is no tray. This baby *loves* the tray. He plays on it (only 9 mos old) and loves to dump water and swirl it around. He's funny-- he really does love sitting in that thing and playing with the kids at my island. I am going to have to buy the Eddie Bauer one everyone hates. It's so nice and compact. Dang. I wasted $ here, but that thing made me crazy every freaking time I tripped over it, and had to move it.

I have a bag ready to go tomorrow with some clothes that didn't sell and my friend didn't take with her (too small). An old printer that has been in my closet for months and box of other stuff too. Can't wait to get it gone!!!

Yay for you!!! Good job.

I'm in the middle of a similar space - about to chuck massive quantities of stuff that I have been holding onto because "it's worth money." It's not worth the energy/time/space it is sucking from our lives, actually!!!
