This week's challenge: Declutter the top of your fridge! LOL!

Mine had 2 almost empty packages of recycled paper towels (I didn't know about one of them!), 2 half empty bags of dog biscuits (have to keep them up or my 32 mo ds either eats them or feeds them all to the dogs), boxes for Public Pilgrims (salt and pepper shakers), gigantic bubble wand, scented oil candle refills and holder.

Now you have to use some type of all purpose cleaner to wipe it off with or else it's not much of a challenge eh? I used old diapers and an essential oil scented vinegar water spray.

If you are really up to it you could also wipe down the doors and sides (save cleaning the inside for another day) (I can only wipe down one side because the other side is against the wall and i'd ahve to pull out the fridge and that just feels like work! LOL!).

Best wishes!

Sincerely,
Debra

Oooh...I love this one since I don't have a top of my fridge~lol! It is built in.

But, I will do some work on my pantry~I am almost done with it and this is good motivation for me to finish.

hey were you looking at my fridge i was just staring at it this afternoon thinking i needed to do that
do i need to do the front of it too we have a great big magnetic wipe on/off month at a glance board that we started adding clothespins to so we could attach important things to...but now it has become pics, reminders, a couple key chains, and oh man...what about all those alphabet letters for the fridge phonics that my ds' use to practice their alphabet!
it really bugs me to see all that stuff clipped to it...guess i am going to get down to it and do away w/what is not necessary. off to work on it

Great idea! I need to do mine; it's gathered an assortment of stuff that Jake does inappropriate things with, LOL. Plus a few mason jars and a roll of paper towels.

I just did that!

Threw away some branches and put away cloth napkins, wiped it down. Man, it gets dusty up there. Now I have just cookbooks (ones with recipes for food I am making this week only, the rest are on their bookshelf in the living room), knife block and two glass bottles up there.

I keep looking here thinking I should join but every time I ook you are decluttering something I donīt have, like an office (no, we donīt even have office desk, lol). I live in a one bedroom apartment, so there is way less to declutter

I had a couple of little things I could toss. But the 10 lb boxes o' ww pasta have to stay up there or Rowan will eat it all uncooked. And then I find spaghetti and elbow macaroni all around the sofa. And that is even messier looking than pasta on top of the fridge.

Done! (cracks knuckles with satisfaction). DH did a fabulous job.

(actually, that's where we put recyclables during the day and dh takes them out when he gets home).

I have a cabinet above my fridge, and I cleaned that out at Christmas. There are only a few things in there. A punch bowl, (that I use at holidays and showers etc) punch glasses, and spare coffee filters. Nothing will fall out if I open the doors.

LOL, prefect timing. I just did this the other day. OK I was really up there looking for chocolate chip cookies, then couldn't figure out why there was a container of glitter, an empty(ish) chip bag & a sack full of even more magnetic letters all getting in the way of said cookies.

YK, I don't know if there is anything in the cabinet above the fridge? I can't reach it without a step stool. It's official, Anything up there is SO's fault! Darned tall guys.
