okay I have to be completely honest with you my desk is the messiest part of my house! and actually the only mess right now shockingly enough!

But let's see what we can do about that!

I know everyone was giving you lots of ideas the other day about what you should do and they were all good, but you can't go crazy with ideas unless you are ready to incorporate each one.

The very first thing you need to do is get a place to file into (bank boxes are cheapest, but I prefer a filing cabinet, my mom prefers the little plastic carry tote.

Decide what would be best for you and then get it. If you decide to get a filing cabinet, I found a cool one at the thrift shop that has three drawers on one side and a door with three shelves on the other. I think something like that would be awesome for you with your avon.

]After you do that then we can get everything in it's own place

Another idea for your avon stuff is plastic storage totes, You can get them anywhere.

Let me learn how to take pics and transfer them on here and I will show you some of the things I have done!!!

That would be great! I'd love to see some pictures. It gets so frutrating because the computer does tend to be the messiest area in the house with the kitchen a close 2nd. Both places are where I spend most of my time. Thanks so much for all of your help! Your in Florida so I'm only about 12 hours away. Wanna take a *quick* trip over here & help me conquer this evil situation? lol

okay my computer junkie brother has come and shown me how to resize my pics so I can upload them.
The one on the left is all of my craft supplies, but I wanted you to get an idea of what I was talking about with your avon stuff.

The second pic is my desk and you can see my filing cabinet.

I am on standby waiting to help anyway that I can.

I love how you have those organized! That looks amazing & seems like you'd be able to find everything really easily. Now is that a closet where you stickly keep those containers? What sizes are they? And what sort of items do they hold? Where did you find the containers at?

That is not a closet it was an alcove (a waste of space imo) in the hallway and I bought shelves and had DH put them up.

Some of them are just regular shoebox size plastic bins and some are 16 quart, a bit bigger but same design as the shoeboxes.

They all hold the kids crafty stuff, one holds crayons and markers, another chalk and pencils, another has glue and scissors, one has wood stuff, another has pipe cleaners, one has construction paper, I have a few that are misc craft things like stuff I only had 1 or 2 of. stuff like that.

I got them at Family Dollar, I don't know how far Family dollar goes, but another store Dollar General has them as well.

It was $1 for each shoe box (you may find them a little cheaper actually at wal-mart maybe $.88 and they would have a few more sizes to chose from) and I paid $5.00 for 3 big ones together.

I didn't go to walmart because I was in a hurry and I would have had to drive an hour to get there.
