I just cleaned out my kitchen cabinets (okay, the top ones, I still have to tweak the bottom ones but they are pretty good).
My fridge is in desperate need of a complete emptying-out and washing down with the steam cleaner. I am going to try to do that one day this week. My freezer, too.
I am still lagging on my taxes and making files up for my paperwork. But I did clear my desk several times and it's staying in better shape. And we have been having some summer fun!
My big areas right now are to finish the kitchen cabinets, clean fridge, declutter office, and clean out my master bedroom closet.
I forgot, my car is a mess as we have been going to the beach constantly. And the garage needs retuning so we can put the saws that are on the porch in there and start work on renovating our porch.
I have been keeping up with day to day housework, which feels great!

mamabear .. if you want you could come here and clean my fridge too .. JK .. ours needs cleaned out too .. great another thing to add to my to do list ... ARGH ...
has anyone gotten to the bottom of their to do list ? ... I never do .. i mark one thing off and add 2-3 *lol * then i have to add the same one i marked off not 1-2 days later.
I need to get back on the wagon, LOL. I fell off about a week before school was out! I did get the fridge cleaned out on Friday, I am ashamed to say there was stuff growing in there .
The boys' room is a constant, but I really need to get in there and sort out their closet again. I need to make room in my sewing and multipurpose room for a guest bed (THAT is going to be fun), and I need to get into the craft cabinet and sort that mess out. I *might* get one of those done this week, as my sister will be here Monday and Tuesday, and we will be leaving on Wed.

I have been just trying to keep up with daily chores. I have managed to clean out the garage and donated a bunch of stuff but I still have several boxes (like 20) out there that I need to go through.

Hey Amy... We had a "pet" apple in a corner of our dining room when we cleaned this morning, it was all cute and fuzzy. lol... Don was home for the morning, and we got some thigns done, but we found quite a few things that were just nasty! The joys of being alone with two kids at all times for the last 6 months.
Ohh i totally understand the furry apple .. was it hiding out some where .. *lol*
Usually i will find food and things in weird places when i go and straighten out the girls room( most of the time just to get the drink cups and things that could attract bugs or mice out of the room ) ... i found a gogart wrapper and a drink and a plate in the youngests bed with her teddy bears.. her bed had crumbs all through it .. and usually they arent allowed to eat in their rooms so i am a little stumped as to how the crumbs got back there .. because i know when their friend was staying over and they were watching TV in their room i let them take a gogart a drink and cake back there .. i asked them to bring it back out if their room i know 2 times .. and i still have yet to find the fork .. i guess some mysteries we never ment to be solved
